Liquefied petroleum gas or liquid petroleum gas (LPG or LP gas), also referred to as simply propane or butane, is a flammable mixture of hydrocarbon gases used as a fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment, and vehicles.

Rural heating

Predominantly in rural parts of many countries, LPG can provide an alternative to electricity and heating oil (kerosene). LPG is most often used where there is no access to piped natural gas.

Realizing the effectiveness and advantages of LPG for the rural settlements, Route Management (Pty) Ltd used the necessary resources available to them to generate working models for Africa. 

These models are used to continually assist companies to offer better heating systems for Africa.

When LPG is used to fuel internal combustion engines, it is often referred to as autogas or auto propane. This autogas can deliver a great service to the driver.
